We all get frustrated trying to find things on the Internet. The spam and junk sites sometimes seem overwhelming. Isn't the Internet supposed to save time? We have a solution.
Hand Selected Specialty Search Engines
We have created a system of search engines on specific topics that exclude spam and junk sites, and sites that are overly commercialized and have little to offer besides their paid services and products. Not that there is anything wrong with offering things for sale, but we wanted to solve the problem of doing research and learning from the content from the Internet.
A Simple Concept With Only Benefits and No Cost
It's really very simple. We hunt down the better sites we can find and add them to the appropriate specialty search engine. We make sure that sites included:
- do not charge for access to their informational articles, papers, etc
- do not require you to register to access their articles and papers
- do not obscure, or otherwise render their content and information unusable by plastering ads all over (this includes popups)
All you have to do is choose the search engine that sounds relevant to your topic, and use it like any search engine. You will save time PLUS find relevant information you probably wouldn't have otherwise found because:
- we cull the junk
- we draw from sites that often don't rank well in "universal" search engines, but that have excellent content relevant to your searches
It's amazing how much time you can save by focusing your searches within the topic you are really interested in, and how few actual sites you need to search provided the sites are top quality.
There is no catch. These search engines were created to solve our own challenges finding things on the net, and in effect, we are sharing them with you free of charge.
We plan on hosting a number of specialized search engines, beginning with ones for training and development, and leadership and management. We focus on subject areas about which we have experience and knowledge so we can intelligently include and exclude sites appropriately. Coming soon will be search engines for:
